Why the name Superbloom?

Have you heard the song Superbloom by Misterwives? It’s a beautiful, high-energy anthem about resilience, navigating life’s storms and emerging stronger than before. Just like in nature, where a superbloom follows a winter of heavy rains, our personal challenges can be the catalyst for incredible growth.

For me, Superbloom became more than a song. It was my anthem during a season of personal mental health struggles. Its message kept me grounded, motivated, and hopeful that better days were ahead, and that I would be stronger because of the journey.

I also had the privilege of living in Southern California for many years and witnessing one of the most breathtaking poppy superblooms in the Antelope Valley after a record-breaking rainy winter. It was a living reminder that beauty can follow hardship.

You’ll notice the Superbloom logo features both poppies and a rose, a nod to my Oregon roots and my California chapter. My hope is that, no matter what stage of life you’re in, working with me will help you navigate challenges with strength, nurture your own growth, and ultimately, bloom into your fullest self.

About Mackenzie

Hi, I’m Mackenzie, and I’m passionate about helping people feel strong, grounded, and aligned in their lives. Before stepping into the wellness space, I worked as a civil engineer. While the work was practical and structured, I felt a growing sense of misalignment between my day-to-day and the kind of impact I truly wanted to make. I knew I was meant to work more directly with people to support them in living healthier, more intentional lives. That inner pull toward alignment led me to follow my passion for movement, mindset, and personal growth and ultimately to a more fulfilling path in health and wellness.

I began this new chapter by becoming a certified yoga instructor. I was drawn to yoga’s ability to support both the body and the mind, and I quickly saw how powerful it was in helping people reconnect with themselves. Teaching yoga opened the door to more personalized, one-on-one work, which inspired me to continue my education and become a certified health and wellness coach. Through coaching, I found joy in helping clients navigate transitions, uncover their values, and create sustainable habits rooted in their own “why.”

Wanting to further support clients in building physical strength and confidence, I became a certified personal trainer. With a background in movement, mindset, and habit change, I now offer a truly holistic approach to wellness. Whether I’m leading someone through a strength training plan, helping them shift limiting beliefs, or guiding them through a grounding yoga practice, I meet each person where they are. I believe that everyone’s path to well-being is different, and I’m here to support that journey with compassion, curiosity, and accountability.

When I’m not working with clients, you can find me out hiking in the gorge, reading a cozy mystery, planning my next trip to a National Park, or cuddled up at home with my cat, Hemi.
